Particularly, at Saigon Jewellery and Gemstone Co, the SJC gold price was quoted its buying and selling price at 19.15 million dong and 19.24 million dong per tael.

The gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewellery Co also slipped by 150,000 dong per tael from previous day with the buying and selling price listed at 19.15 million dong and 19.3 million dong per tael.

The domestic gold price continued falling due to the world gold price kept going down. The gold price at New York on March 3 market dropped by US$26.4/ounce (or 2.8%) to US$913.6/ounce, marking the biggest drop since last December 12.

As for the foreign currency market, the US dollar price was traded at 17,680 dong per US dollar (as buying) and 17,730 dong/US dollar (as selling) in the free market on March 4, rising 60 dong/US dollar day on day.

Meanwhile, at the Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (Vietcombank), the forex rate was listed 17,478 dong/US dollar.
